Golden Month Founders
Golden Month MotherCare was founded by Marnie McCurdy, L.Ac and Joey Bennett, L.Ac to offer their services to mothers in the days and weeks just after their babies are born. We feel that new moms need to be treated while they are still settling in with their babies, and that mothers benefit most from home visits that are only minimally disruptive to the family’s nesting and comfort. Marnie and Joey are both mothers themselves, and feel it is very important for new moms to be at ease in their own environment, and still receive the highest quality of care.
At-home Care Service
Golden Month MotherCare is an at-home care service for new mothers (in their first month postpartum), utilizing TCM modalities to treat common postpartum conditions and support the strength and spirit of the mother and baby.
We are a consortium of highly trained practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture and herbal medicine) and related healers who specialize in the care of postpartum mothers.
